Using the latest imgburn, on my Pioneer DVR-108. Its got the latest firmware and my media type has given me no problems in the past. Always seems to bomb out around 44% of the burn.

Dont know what is causing it. Failures most of the time now.

This time I got a different error to the power calibration one, log below (but it always starts with a power calibration error):

Caldor, Looks like it may be your media. TTH02 has been associated with dyes by CMC, absolute garbage media. Also maybe try slowing your burn speed down to 4X and try it again. The best media for burning is Verbatim DVD-R single 4.7 GB. A bit more expensive but well worth it. :)

Unfortunately nothing last forever in this world and you might just find the drive is getting worse the older it gets.

Media quality is also known to vary and although you've perhaps not had problems with that media before now, I would still advise you to hunt out some Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden media and try those instead.

EDIT:

For what it's worth, the TTH02 discs tested in the 'Drives and Media' forum also turned out pretty awful when burnt with the Pioneer drives (110 and 111 models).
