Daniel Fletcher Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Hi, Could someone please help me with the error that I am getting when trying to burn an image? The error that I cant seem to figure out is: W 17:23:49 Failed to Write Sectors 224 - 255 - Reason: Write Error I have succesfully burnt the image on another laptop using img burn and the same disk type. But when using win 7 on this laptop it fails everytime. Im guessing its the drive that is causing the problem???? ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 - Log ; Sunday, 30 January 2011, 17:45:33 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 17:22:14 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! ianymaty Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Laptop drives aren't such a great burners at all, regardles of manufacturer. Obviously, the drive in the other laptop managed to burn the disc but your's not. This is due to drive/firmware/media combination. You can try a lower speed instead MAX, you only left 4x. Try some quality disc from Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
