fredb Posted February 2, 2011 Share Posted February 2, 2011 Download a movie that downloaded as an iso file. Using Imgburn I installed the iso file to a dvd. The dvd will play perfectly on my pc but will not play on any of my dvd players. All dvd players say disc error when inserted. The first time I tried it was with an older version of imgburn. Didn't work. Downloaded the latest version and tried it again. Still will not play. Created three disc and all will play on pc but will not play on any dvd players. ianymaty Posted February 2, 2011 Share Posted February 2, 2011 The log looks fine. Burn and verify OK. ImgBurn has done its job perfect, hence you can play it on computer. Your problem may lay in players compatibility to read the media you use or most probably PAL/NTSC system incomaptibility. Does your players support both standards? Look in manual. ianymaty Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 Play it on computer and look for the the resolution. 720x576 is PAL. 720x480 is NTSC. The movie can be converted from one system to other, but not worth the time and efort put into it, not to mention you need some authoring programs and some knowledge. Google can help you. Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 Download and install MediaInfo - http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en/Download/Windows Browse the disc and right click the VIDEO_TS.IFO file.
