Ace62 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 HELP! I have read the forums till my eyes are bugged out but can not seem to find an answer. While trying to back up our blu-ray collection I have created about $60 worth of coasters. I rip with the latest version of Any DVD HD to my hard drive then burn to a bd blank. All seems to work fine but when I try to play back I get the message "A disk with an unsupported format is in drive D:". In the Blu-ray player I get the same message without the drive designator. Can anyone see from the log what I am screwing up? Cynthia Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 What happens if you try to play it from the Pioneer?
Ace62 Posted February 3, 2011 Author Posted February 3, 2011 I get the same error message from both drives and a similar error on my Samsung Blu-Ray player.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Update the firmware on your drive - http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/BDR-205/files.html Update ImgBurn. As it burnt and verified fine, I'm not sure we can really help you - ImgBurn did its job. What are you using to play the disc on your PC? PowerDVD 10 Ultra II? Try ArcSoft's TotalMedia Theatre 5 instead and see if it has the same problem.

Ace62 Posted February 3, 2011 Author Posted February 3, 2011 Thank you. I updated the drive firmware, have updated IMG burn and Any DVD and will try again. I am using Power DVD 10 for playback, will try TotalMedia and see if it has the same problem Thanks again; Ace62
