yetanotheruser Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I know it's on the "when I feel like it" list, but I'm another one who would love a multisession ability. Presently I use CDBurnerXP for my project backups. Frequently I have just 20-50Mb or so of data in a project but need to keep an isolated backup of the project history. Having to use a new CD each time and end up with multiple CD's with almost nothing on them for the one project just doesn't work. Here's hoping it'll come sooner rather than later.
ianymaty Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I'll rather use a 4GB USB stick/memory card. It's quick and free of scratches and error problem.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 I have to agree. Multisession burning was a great idea 10 years ago when 20gig harddrives were $500 a shot and CD writers needed a second mortgage taken out on the house. These days, a 2TB drive can be had for less than $100. Hardware is so cheap these days it isn't funny and quality backup software can be downloaded for free from places like Sourceforge. In this day and age, I don't understand why anyone would want to use an outdated format like CDs to store backups.
