Cynthia Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 tried buring at 2,4 , 2 and 4x speed. I 16:50:55 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D01-67) (Speeds: 4x; 6x; 8x) Most certainly all those three burns were carried out at 4x, as none of those lower speeds are supported by your system. Try the 6x and 8x and if that also fails, get better quality media.

I have the option to choose 2, 2.4 or 4x tho...on img burn. i dont think hy disk is dirty, its kinda new, what if i change to verbatim and it still fails? can u see any other option why it fails? its only in the end of the burn that it fails why is that? new media, u mean new disks like verbatim? ianymaty Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Go with a higher speed 6x or 8x, forget about the lower speeds fairytale. If Verbatin don't go, buy a new drive.

Cynthia Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Verbatim works ok with that burner. I have one myself. If you buy the Verbatims on mail order outside of Sweden, you can get them for a price lower than what you paid for your current ones (if they were bought in Sweden).

When I said buy a new drive, I just answerd your question. Meaning if you try Verbatim and still fail, replace burner. A drive that can't burn propperly a Verbatim disc it is pretty useles, you know.
