Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed!

Hello everyone, I know there has been a few threads about this subject and I pretty much spent a good 6 hours trying to figure out on how to fix this problem. I am using a Verbatim dvd+r dl from singapore and burning at 2.4x speed. I tried 5 discs already and it just wont burn, sometimes it would get to 99% and gives me the error "Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! - Reason: Program Memory Area Update Failure" I never had a problem like this before but also it has been around a year now since I actually burnt a 360 game and I used the same burner that I have now. Since I never had a problem a year ago could it be my burner is going to hell? do I need a new burner if so which should I go for "only option SATA" or does it have to do with me updating my imgburn to the current version? I have no problem what so ever in getting a new burner I just can't bare letting another disc go to waste! Please if anyone in this forum can help me it would be greatly appreciated. I wish I wasn't so stubborn to ask this question since I lost a good few hours of searching and tiring myself out. Here is the log.

Also like I said I used the same burner I did a year ago and it burnt my games perfectly I just don't know what changes I made throughout the year that would make imgburn give me this error. Again I use verbatims since there are a lot of people saying "you're probably using a low end disc" OH OH also just to let you guys know I did update my burners firmware just to let you all know.

You could try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, but getting a new burner is a good option. I'd get an Optiarc AD-7240S or AD-7260S (or their 7241/7243/7261/7263 optionals).

Thank you for your response kind sir.
