ianswindale Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 I have recently created separate admin and user accounts on my computer running XP Pro. I already had IMGBurn installed and it worked well, but after I created the user account I could no longer use the program in the user account as it failed to detect my DVD writer. I went into the admin account, uninstalled IMGBurn and reinstalled it, making sure that it was available to all users. When I tried to use it again in my user account I ran up against the same problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled it again, but still I can't use it in the user account. I get the mesage no devices detected where it should identify the DVD writer. As I installed it to be used by all users I don't understand what is going on. Can anyone advise? Thanks.
