Jlp06 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Hey guys, ive been trying to burn a movie file (mpg4)to dvd. So far its not bootable, and only my computer reads it. I tried making a image file and then writing that iso file to a dvd but it still did not work. I even tried writing at 1x write speed.. if anyone can provide step by step instructions or point me to a guide i would be very appreciative..save me from wasting anymore dvds =) Ty
Rincewind Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 You cannot simply put that file on a disc and expect your set top dvd player to play it. You need to convert your mpg4 file into the standard DVD-VIDEO compliant format (VIDEO_TS directory with IFO, BUP and VOB files). Check out DVDFlick.
Jlp06 Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 ty ill try that! And yes, i am wanting my dvd player to read it.
