I'm new to this program, but nothing else on my Windows 7 box was working for this drive either. My disks are TDK CDs. I haven't used this for writing CDs ever so it could be a bad drive. Thanks for any advice and/or help!

Your drive don't like the discs you are using.

 

Notice there are no write supported speeds available reported by its firmware but is trying to use MAX (48x).

 

Try set a lower speed, it may get to the end or try some different media.

Thanks! I tried 1x and got a similar error so it must be my media (or hardware):

If I was in your place I would waste one more disc to try 16x, it's a common write speed for CD.

 

Than if no go, try some Verbatim.

 

Than replace the drive with a modern one.
