This is why I go to computer auctions. About 6 months ago I bought 3 slimline desktop PCs for about US$100 each. 512 RAM, P4 2.4gig, 64meg video etc etc and they work brilliantly. Pretty useless for gaming or whatever but great for most other things.

I can remember buying 8088's and the like really cheap to use as print servers for various businesses in the past.
