Hi folks :)

I have a problem which I never experienced before. Today I tried to burn an ISO image file to a CD. When loading the empty CD it says:

"Logical unit is in process of becoming ready"

and then:

"Device not ready (Medium not present - Tray closed)"

I didn't use my drive for 1 or 2 years (yes it's true!) and now it doesn't even recognize any CD or DVD which is already written.

Didn't try a boot CD yet, but at least in Windows it doesn't work.

I am running Windows 7 32 bit and I have this LG drive: GH22LP20 (firmware: 2.00 - just updated from 1.03)

The changelog from 2.00 even says that it now supports Windows 7 which is why I thought it would definitely work after a reboot...

I also updated my BIOS but it didn't help.

Thanks for your time and I hope there is someone around here who can assist me in this problem.
