ch00se Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Hello! I've been using imgburn for sometime now and rarely had any problems. I was attempting to reburn a disc I had previous burnt using the same media as before and the same drive to burn, which is far from old. When the disc reaches the finalising stage however I get the internal target failure error. I've tried twice and updated imgburn inbetween but no luck. The drive isnt very old, a couple of years at most. I 14:02:41 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! Rincewind Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Try cleaning your drive with a cleaning disc, it couldn't hurt. Also your firmware version is 1.06, there is an update: http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_104-file_DVR-216D_FW109EU2.EXE.html After updating your firmware try again.
