LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 That message should change when you first insert a disc. Does it? (Even if it then settles back on medium not present) Can your drive read regular original/pressed CDs and DVDs? You could try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. Otherwise, buy yourself a new one.
