JeniP720 Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 I am having problems during the burning phase. It happens about 75% of the time. Just recently. No firmware updates for my driver. It recognizes there is a disc in the drive. A lot of times I put a disk in and it says no medium present so I restart the computer and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I trouble shoot until I get it to read a disc. Then in the process of burning it gets an error. I try a new disc and same thing. Again this only happens 75% of the time. Rincewind Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Have you had this drive for a while? Do you have the same problems when you try a pressed disc to see if it reads it? Perhaps try using a cleaning disc, see if that changes anything.
