Laptop drives are all pretty rubbish.

 

If yours is having trouble burning everything, try cleaning it with a cleaning disc.

 

Try using Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden media.

 

If all else fails, get a decent normal sized drive and put it in an external USB/eSATA enclosure.
