Im trying to burn an iso to a dvd, but imgburn says:

"No writers detected"

iv used imgburn before and didnt have this problem.

I tried deleting the dvd driver, and restarting, but

it didnt help.

here is the log:

Do you have more than 1 drive in your machine?

 

If not, the drive you do have in there is a basic DVD-ROM drive. It can read discs but it can't write to them.

Yes, look in device manager and see if they're both listed.

 

If they aren't, check / replace the cables going to the missing drive - i.e. look inside the case.
