ianymaty Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Your drive is old and don't support very well the new media, see the only supported write speed is 4x when the media is 16x rated. Do yourself (and your computer) a favor and buy a new drive, they are so cheap this days. You are using an outdated version of ImgBurn, btw.
Cynthia Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Could try with a lens cleaning disc, but they cost 40% of what a new burner costs, so I would go for the above suggestion.

Thx for your quick reply,i thought my drive was a bit outdated,just found it strange after about 30 burns (worked fine) using the same discs,burner etc, it now shows this error.thx again! ohh and i rolled back to old imgburn version incase that had something to do with it! Hi,got a new dvd rw drive,problem solved,the old one lasted well,thx again for your replys
