Prometheus Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I'm a newb to IMGBurn, so please bear with me on this. Just installed IMGBurn, and as I went to settings I saw on Page 1, the "Shutdown action" was set to "Power off". Please clarify. Does this mean when I shut down IMGBurn its going to shut my computer off? If so, why? This would be completely counter productive to have a program that shuts my computer off when its closed. It would be nice to have an installation guild for newbs like myself. I imagine there is one, and you will redirect me to it, but after looking for it in the forums and not finding it, could you please point me in the right direction? I don't want it running at start-up...don't want it to shut my computer down with program shut down....don't want it to be a resource hog when opened either. Thanks for your patients, and help with settings tips. Also, please forgive me for being a bother. Broken backs and computer chairs aren't exactly a comfy mix. Therein lies the reason for my inpatients. Thanks, Prometheus
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Of course it has nothing to do with what happens when you close the program, that would just be daft. It's the action performed when you tell ImgBurn to shutdown your computer (i.e. when it's finished burning or whatever). There's a whole forum dedicated to Guides, go take a look. There's no installation guide because the default settings are what works best. You shouldn't fiddle with anything except maybe the 'File Locations' in the Settings. It doesn't run at startup.
