Malik Blishtar Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I just need help im trying to change a vts folder into one working iso i have never used this program or any other before but heard that it can do that i have a movie in a folder (vts) and its annoying because its all segmented into bups and video and junk so i wanted to change it to one working iso file so that it will play like a dvd on my computer i think im doing it right but it saves my folder as a rar but when i open the rar its the same vts folder i once had so im not sure what to do i have the old windows vista if that helps and a dell 1545 yet im sure im just missing a step i just would like a iso file im not trying to make a dvd or cd because i dont have any left thankyou
mmalves Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 WinRAR associates itself with the .iso extension and opens it as if you wanted to extract the contents of the ISO image. You can mount that ISO image to a virtual drive like Daemon Tools / Virtual CloneDrive / DVDFab Virtual Drive / etc and play it like a real disc. You can also burn that ISO image to a rewritable disc. VLC Media Player can play directly from the ISO image file you've created. Alternatively, if you have Media Player Classic, you can open/drag+drop the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and it'll play like a disc, saving you all the trouble of making an ISO image.
