j2the242 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Hello Everyone, I have a language software disc that I have extracted an iso image of and I need to burn it onto a DVD. I apologize for my lack of knowledge but I am very new to this and somewhat clueless so I appreciate your help very much! When you put the original software in it boots from autorun and doesnt download the software to the computer, it only works when the disc is in. I know its a single layer DVD, and other than those two points I dont know anything about it. Which way is best to burn this to a DVD? I dont want to do trial and error as blank DVDs arent cheap, and I only have 3 right now. Do I 'write image to disc' or 'write files/folders to disc'? Are there any options I need to change to make it work properly? Again I really appreciate any help you can offer me, and thank you so much in advance! -Jesse
ianymaty Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 ImgBurn will warn you if you want to write the image in the Build mode and suggest to switch modes. Try and see. If you have the image of the disc you would use Write image file to disc.
