Logical Unit Communication CRC Error (ULTRA-DMA/32)

every disk i burn with a few isos ive tried have given the below error.

my firmware is updated, im running windows 7 pro 64 bit, but i also tried it in my windows xp VM and the exact same thing happened

im using Memorex DVD+R's

which i have used many times in the past with no problem.

below log is 2 different burn attemps with 2 different isos and 2 fresh disks

 

i have tried 4x 6x and 8x speeds

all with the same result

any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated
