Every time I start ImgBurn v2.5.5.0 on my Windows XP Pro SP3 system, one of the first lines in the log window is

"W! Duplex Secure's SPTD driver can have a detrimental effect on drive performance."

I don't recognize this program name and don't think I ever installed it. ImgBurn seems to be running just fine. Why am I getting this message and what should I do about it?

Here is the full transcript of what appears in the log window at startup:

FYI, Drive 3 and Drive 4 are virtual drives created by DAEMON Tools.

Thanks!

Daemon Tools installed that driver. Some other programs may install it too.

It's just a worning. As it states, sometimes can cause problems.

If you are happy with your system you can safely ignore that warning.

Thanks for your reply! Is there a different Virtual Drive program I could use instead of DAEMON Tools which would be more compatible with IMGBurn and wouldn't cause a warning?
