Redhouse Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 (edited) I recently updated/upgraded my PC to a new HP box with Win7 so if this is a known issue I appologise in advance. Anyway I have in the past used ImageBurn (2.5.5) on an XP box to burn stuff in a folder (called Burn) direct to disc with the "Write Files/Folders to disc" button. In the past when I select a new name for the volume, it has made that the volume label (ie; when you insert the disc and explorer shows the drive icon with it's label) Just now I did the same routine but the burned disc has the folder's name instead of the volume label I typed into the app. In the 2 pics below you can see what I did in ImageBurn, then what Explorer is seeing on the disc. Is this bug in the app when running on Win7, or in the app itself? Edited April 25, 2011 by Redhouse
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Windows will parse the Joliet filesystem over the ISO9660 one (and UDF over Joliet), so that's the one it would display the volume label from. You left the Joliet volume label box blank.
