LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Your drive doesn't support the 'RITEK-S04-66' dye/MID. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 btw, your source image is useless. If you made it from an original disc using ImgBurn, it should have told you it wouldn't work. Don't ignore the warnings! Any reason you're still on SP1 for Vista rather than SP2?
trea Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 So I need a new DVD burner. Can u tell me a good one to buy.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 You need better discs or a new burner. Even a new burner might not burn those cheapo 'RITEK-S04-66' very well. Go for an external 'normal size' drive rather than another slimline one - slimline ones are generally rubbish. It doesn't have to be an actual external drive, just get a bog standard normal size internal drive (where you then have loads of choice) and an enclosure to put it in. There are loads of drive reviews on the internet so find the latest models by various manufacturers and go read up about them.
