TWEIR Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 When selecting a folder on a network drive which contains files to burn, ImgBurn will not attempt to burn all files in that folder (like .exe), regardless of any options. Ex: V:\test (folder on network) contains: readme.txt file.exe when starting a new burn, ImgBurn only sees the "readme.txt" (See screen shot) However when attempting to burn the same folder from a local drive, ImgBurn will see both files. (See screen shot) v2.5.5.0
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Can you please show me the log from you doing that? It tells you in there if files are being skipped for one reason or another. Also, which 'Input' method are you using? Standard or Advanced?
TWEIR Posted May 10, 2011 Author Posted May 10, 2011 When burning from Network folder, the log shows an entry of: "W 07:37:18 Skipped Reparse Point File: V:\test\fciv.exe" (This is just the MS file checksum integrity verifier executable) When burning from local folder, the file is not skipped BurnFromNetworkFolder.log BurnFromLocalFolder.log
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Ok well this is no longer a 'bug'. The program is doing exactly what it should be doing - based on current settings. The file in the network location has the 'FILE_ATTRIBUTE_REPARSE_POINT' attribute flag set and that's why it's being skipped. As for *why* it has that flag set, I've no idea.
