GREATESTonEARTH Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 So I'm just trying to burn an iso on a memorex 4.7gb dvd-r However keep coming back with the same Power Calibration Error mumbo jumbo I have tried the disabling of the "IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service" and that didn't help And I did update the firmware of my drive as well. Rincewind Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 Try at a faster speed see if that helps. Chances are it is the media though that is causing the issue. You may not yet have to chunk the drive just because it is 'old'. Try better media instead of discs that have the Disc ID: CMC MAG. AM3.
