LIGHTNING UK!
Do you have the 1.00-09 (A9) firmware installed? Right click the drive drop down list and select 'Capabilities', it'll tell you in there. If not, get the update via the link below, flash the drive and then try again. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/BH10LS30/files.html Failing that, the drive might just not support 'INFOME-E20-000' media yet. morgen
I did update the software, but the problem is stll there. What supprises me is that dvd's (R+ and Rw's) don't give any trouble these can be formatted and burnt, only the RD-E discs can't be erased and are useless in this way
LIGHTNING UK!
Drives support discs on a MID by MID (dye by dye) basis. The MID (dye) that BD-RE uses 'INFOME-E20-000' is probably too new for the drive to support. That's to say, the drive (and its firmware) came out before 'INFOME-E20-000' was ever made available. You'll just have to wait for LG to release a new firmware and catch up with the times. In the mean time, you could always buy another BD-RE that uses a MID (dye) it does support. Get a Verbatim BD-RE or something.
