Imgburn freezes at "Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices"

I looked this up in the FAQ, ran the debug mode like it instructed, and here are the results of my log:

Can someone help me figure out how to fix this?

What does the message in the status bar say?

 

It doesn't really look like the program is doing anything... so maybe the OS is dealing with a request - and not doing a very good job of it!

 

Does it work if you boot up in safe mode?

It says "Getting device address..."

 

I haven't tried in safe mode, but I'll give it a shot
