azdood Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Hello - I just installed the new version of ImgBurn and this time it asked -during the install - if I wanted to burn with ImgBurn instead of DVDD, but when I went to created the ifo files in DVD Shrink it still didn't give me ImgBurn as a selection, just DVDD. Is that DVDD actually ImgBurn in this newest version? Thanks.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 That option during the install is nothing to do with DVD Shrink, it's to do with explorers context menus. There is a sticky at the top of this forum that talks about DVD Shrink.
azdood Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 OK. Thanks. I just thought maybe DVDD was actually ImgBurn in the Shrink options since I wasn't asked if I wanted to switch to ImgBurn during the install of the older ImgBurn because of the PgcEdit thing.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 There was a rumour a while back about DVD Shrink being hacked/modified/re-written to include ImgBurn in the available options but nothing seems to have happened as yet...........
jack Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Shrink with ImgBurn. It's been around for a while and works a treat.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 It's not something that bothers me a great deal. I store images until I get around to burning them because I'm a lazy bastard.
Mike89 Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 I wondered about this same thing myself when I was installing Imgburn 2.0. I stopped dead in my tracks and came to this forum when I saw that message. I was tripping if choosing yes was going to affect when a program was calling DVD Decrypter (like RipIt4Me, and Pfcedit with plugin). I did choose yes so I'm assuming now that there will be no issues with my above scenario?
blutach Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 I'm a lazy bastard. Time for a change in custom user title? Regards
