jabberwockie Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) hello, Did some searching and still cant find out how to disable the "test mode.." popup when burning to a bd-r. See screenshot of my settings and notice "Test Mode" is not checked, yet I recieve the popup every time. How do I disable this? Thanks! Edited June 10, 2011 by jabberwockie
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Why don't you just disable the actual 'Test Mode' option rather than disabling the warning about it? Either way, disabling the warning still prevents the message from coming up for me. EDIT: Oh, the test mode warning isn't the one that says test mode might not work on BD-R, it's the one that tells you test mode is enabled full stop.

So how do you disable the actual 'Test Mode' option?? Were exactly is that setting?
Cynthia Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 So how do you disable the actual 'Test Mode' option?? Were exactly is that setting? It's in the write mode of the program.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 On the main screen in the 'Destination' box where you pick the drive you want to burn to.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 snap Cynthia, why does your adip info on the right have lots of 'reserved' stuff showing?!
Cynthia Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Cynthia, why does your adip info on the right have lots of 'reserved' stuff showing?! 1. Never use this one for +R single layer media burning. 2. Thought first it was the cheap fake TY water damaged media I use for testing purpose. But happens also with real Verbatim +R media. 3. All other of my drives reads the info correctly. 4. Think it's the genuine 1.03 firmware from Optiarc. I'll reflash it and check for sure. 5. Same disc inserted and every time I restart the program I get different value for the Book Type field. 6. Crappy values also for +r DL media, but no issues burning them. Cynthia Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Same crap even after a reflash with the original firmware from this page. http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/Optiarc-AD-7260S/ The ones on the firmware.hq page wouldn't install as there was already the latest one installed. Changed the USB cable to the same port as the Lite-On (that works), but still crap. =============================================== Filter Driver Load Order - ImgBurn v2.5.5.2 =============================================== Upper Device Filter: [None Found] Upper Class Filter: SiRemFil Device: CD/DVD-ROM Device Lower Class Filter: dvdfab Lower Device Filter: [None Found] Filter Name: SiRemFil File Name: C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\SiRemFil.sys File Version: 1.1.8.0 File Description: Filter driver for Silicon Image SATALink controllers. Cynthia Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 End of the story. It's the USB cabinet that's the joker. Attached it directly to the Silicon Image card, and now it shows the right stuff.
