jgates0923 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Whenever I write to dual layer discs, imgburn tells me it was unable to set Layer Break. I am not using cheap media, but not verbatim either. I am receiving this error with TDK and Memorex dual layer DVDs. I have done some research on this problem, and I've read it could be bad media, bad relationship between my drive and these DVD's, or a bad drive. My question is how do I tell which one it is. I don't think my drive is bad because it burns single layer DVD's correctly every time. I have also burned dual layer media in the past with a few errors here and there, but I have never not been able to burn even a single disc like this. I am open to trying verbatim, but I figured I would post here first because I don't much want to spend 75 dollars on 50 printable discs to have the same problem. Here is the log from imgburn.
