I got a "FormatDisc(FT: 0x31, FST: 0x02) Not Supported!" error then it went on to zeroing sectors - does that mean the format failed or has ImgBurn just completed the bad format? LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 14, 2011 Share Posted July 14, 2011 Those just means the 'full certification' bit isn't supported by your drive - perhaps because spare areas have been disabled. Zeroing sectors is normal when 'format properly' is enabled. Did the format complete OK though? It took just a few seconds then went straight to zeroing sectors.
