I can't seem to find anyone who has had this same error, so I decided to make a thread.

 

I'm trying to burn a duel layer dvd and this is the error i get, at around 19% complete.

 

I get an I/O Error with the following log.

Any ideas? I've burned this same dvd with the same hardware and disk so I think its something to do with the software.

If you plan on burning DL media, don't even bother doing it with your notebook's burner. You are better off investing in a normal burner with an external USB 2.0 enclosure.

 

Notebook drives are useless at producing good quality DL burns.

 

Also:

That is pretty much the worst kind of disc you can get, let alone for DL. Even Ritek media is better than CMC stuff but still not recommended.
