Cynthia Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 These are the speeds your combination of firmware/burner/media supports. I 18:06:45 Destination Media Type: DVD+R (Disc ID: CMC MAG-M01-00) (Speeds: 6x, 8x, 12x, 16x) 6x is the lowest speed possible.
edvaness Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 Thanks for the quick reply, so, it's my burner then, will watch when I buy another one ..
Cynthia Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Doubt you will find any burner today that burns slower than 4x. Slow speed is not the same as best written disc. Modern burners tend to have a nice write quality at higher speeds than the ones from the Fred Flintstones days.
