anthea Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I have just started using this programe, and would like to know. can one download a dvd to the harddrive without it laying to be burnt, so that you can convert the dvd first and then burn it?
Rincewind Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Imgburn will only copy DVDs that are NOT copy protected as an ISO file, and it can be burned at any time. Also Imgburn does not do any sort of comverting, so if you are looking to copy a DVD that is protected and to convert it, you have to look at a different program, since Imgburn is strictly for burning data 'as is'.
anthea Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 thanks for the reply, i have a programe that decrypts and converts. So that is not a hassle. But what i would like to do, is use imgburn to copy the dvd to the harddrive so that i can convert it. i tried to do that. they dvd shows in the folder but when i open the converter it doesnt show it there, and it lays ready to burn. Cause what i like is that the imgburn but the dvd in one and not in audio and video ts folders which is a headache when i want to convert.Once again thanks for the reply.
