Laptop won't read disk

Ok the burn(Win 7 hehe) was successful according to Img Burn, but my laptop is not reading the disk. So I checked it on another laptop and it was reading it fine. I then popped in a few other cd's I had and my laptop i reading them no problem either.

Any help on getting my laptop to read the disk?

Yes the problem is still there after reboot. Though I had this problem earlier with regular DVD's and the reboot solved it.

Could it be that my laptop is older? It's a 2006-07ish Gateway laptop so it's pretty old. Maybe it can't read DVD+R DL which is what I used.

If it burned it than it should reading it back as well.

Did you burned the disc in another laptop/computer not on the Gateway?

You should post the log as per the pink box up say for further assistance.

That image would fit on a single layer disc.

You did not let the verify enabled so we don't know if that drive would read it back.

Try find a firmware update for the drive on Gateway support site.

You should update Vista to SP2.

I had to uncheck the verify option, because the burning process would always get stuck at that step. I'll update to SP2 and check firmware and see what happens.
