Hello everyone,

I came to the point of banging my head against the desk in pure horror of my burner. Since recently I've always been able to burn my 360 backups with no problem. Burned loads, and always on the same disks, never had a coaster and never had a game that didnt work in my 360. I use MediaRange DVD+R DL 8x. However for some reason I'm getting an error recently and I can't seem to fix it. I hope one of you can take a look at my log and point me in the right direction, either to the shop for a new burner or a less costly solution :P

Look for the latest drivers for your system's chipset / storage controllers (this website might help). You could also try a new SATA data cable on your cable on your burner and make sure the SATA power cable is firmly and evenly seated in the connector. Lastly, you could try plugging the burner on other SATA ports.

In any case, it would be also better if you used better quality media as well (please read this).

You're an absolute legend! It worked what you suggested! I replaced my SATA cable with a new one and just now I finished a backup with succes

Didn't think about something like that as I was still able to read/play disks with the drive. So still a bit weird, but I'm glad I didn't storm directly to a shop to get a new one ;)

Thanks again, you made my day!
