I am using the latest ImgBurn software with my Lite-on DVD DL burner (Atapi iHAP122 W) which has the latest firmware and driver. I have used this burner to burn ISO files previously on many occasions using Imation DL DVD+R discs. All of a sudden now the burner refuses to recognise the identical discs through the ImgBurn software giving me the "Device not Ready(Medium not present - tray closed)" error. I thought that the burner might have died - even though it is only a few months old. However, I can read the other DL discs that i have burnt. Can anyone help me here????? Do i need to clean the burner??? HELP!!!!!!!

btriant Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 The thing is that the current Imation DVD+R DL discs that I am using have worked previously in my drive (25 times). So I do not know why they just decided to stop being recognised by the drive. Maybe the drive does need cleaning!!!
