alsoran Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 On a Lenovo 3000 N200 laptop running Win XP-pro SP3 and ImgBurn v2.5.0.0, I burned an ISO file to a CD-RW at 8x speed (disk rated at 10x). ImgBurn seemed to verify that the burn was successful after ejecting and re-inserting the disk, but after finishing it showed the contents of the disk in the drive and there appears to be nothing on it. I have tried two different CD-RW disks and one CD-R with similar results. The ISO file is supposed to provide a bootable image to update my BIOS. Is it possible that the files are there, but not detectable? I don't want to experiment with updating the BIOS and have it screw up my Mobo. LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 Old versions of ImgBurn aren't supported - update to the current version. The disc looks like it should be bootable so just make sure you've configured your BIOS correctly so it boots from it rather than the HDD. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
