A cleaning disc might help. Tried the other two available speeds - 4x & 6x?

I 17:40:28 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x, 6x)
W 17:41:48 Failed to Write Sectors 544 - 575 - Reason: Tracking Servo Failure

Servo error might indicate hardware related problem inside the burner.

Thanks for the reply, umm no i havent tried the other speeds. I would give it a try but everyone and everyone ive read and watched and talked to that are burning this type of data says not to burn faster than 2.4 or the game wont work proprely.

The driver im using is my standard Dell 1550 laptop driver, would you recommend buying a new driver specifically for burning my games? and if so do you have any suggestions for a reasonably priced one?

Many Thanks again!

The speed of burn don't matter as long as the disc is readable. Some burners do a better job at higher speeds than do at low speeds.

Laptop/slimline burners aren't recommended for burning DL media.

An Optiarc 72xx put in a decent external USB 2.0 enclosure should do the job.
