Srki94 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Hey people! I'm using ImgBurn for about a year now. I was wondering if someone could explain to me why is this happening. DVD Has 4.7 GB space for burn, due different calculations (1000MB or 1024) you can burn 4.3 GB max. When I try to burn 4GB (Exactly precise size) on a DVD R I get message that it exceeds allowed size and ImgBurn asks me to move to UDF. When I do so what actually happens? Will it overburn DVD? Will all my 4GB be safe cause I know there are still 300MB free on DVD? Thanks in Advance
Cynthia Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 The ISO9660 file system can only hold a file smaller than 4GB. If it's bigger - use UDF. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_9660

Thanks again!
