Hi everyone!

I've been using imgburn since a while, and suddenly I've got a message and I haven't been able to write a double layer disc.

The message I got is: "Device Not Ready (No Reference Point Found)"

this is the log I have:

and I'm using verbatim DVD+R DL

I've been looking for an answer in this forum, and I've tried anything, but nothing help me.

I updated to the last firmware.

I've restarted computer, and still.

I can read other cd's, dvd's, even DL dvd's, but can't write!

I checked the option Tools>Settings>Read> Ignore read errors

I installed different versions of imgburn, the last one i tried, was 2.5.5.0

I also tried to unninstall alcohol/daemon tools and still

as u can see, i've tried a lot of options, but non of these seem to help me.

And I've written lots of DL DVD's before i got this error, and I'm doing exactly the same thing...

I hope u can help me and thanks beforehand :)

The blanc disc you inserted is "certainly" new/unused?

Does it work with regular single layer disc to burn?

The version of the program will not have any impact, sounds more as a dying burner it if can't load a blanc DL Verbatim disc. :(
