Xi0N Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Im using arch linux 64bit, and i am unable to run ImgBurn properly..... it just displays an error message saying that the program cannot start and that's it. Does anyone around here use ImgBurn as i do? How did you manage to make it work? Thank you!!! Wine version: 1.3.30 ImgBurn Version: 2.5.6.0 These are the errors i get from console when running ImgBurn: wine ImgBurn.exe err:module:load_builtin_dll failed to load .so lib for builtin L"winemp3.acm": libmpg123.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory fixme:shell:FileIconInit (true) fixme:msg:ChangeWindowMessageFilter c059 00000001 fixme:msg:ChangeWindowMessageFilter c044 00000001 fixme:msg:ChangeWindowMessageFilter c05a 00000001 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 err:datetime:DATETIME_WindowProc unknown msg 2005 wp=00000001 lp=00000000 fixme:shell:SHAutoComplete stub fixme:shell:SHAutoComplete stub fixme:shell:SHAutoComplete stub fixme:shell:SHAutoComplete stub fixme:resource:GetGuiResources (0xb8,0): stub xe: ../../../wine/dlls/ole32/compobj.c:732: apartment_release: Assertion `list_empty(&apt->stubmgrs)' failed. wine: Assertion failed at address 0xf77b7425 (thread 0009), starting debugger... err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 928 bytes in thread 0009 eip 7bc7c138 esp 010a0f90 stack 0x10a0000-0x10a1000-0x14a0000 [xi0n@7thHeaven ImgBurn]$ Process of pid=0008 has terminated No process loaded, cannot execute 'echo Modules:' Cannot get info on module while no process is loaded No process loaded, cannot execute 'echo Threads:' process tid prio (all id:s are in hex) 0000000e services.exe 0000001e 0 0000001d 0 00000019 0 00000017 0 00000015 0 00000010 0 0000000f 0 00000012 winedevice.exe 00000018 0 00000014 0 00000013 0 0000001a plugplay.exe 0000001f 0 0000001c 0 0000001b 0 00000020 explorer.exe 00000021 0 You must be attached to a process to run this command. So, any ideas? I think i pretty much tested everything.... am i missing something to install or is it the problem that the wine version im running is the 64bit one? I hope i get ImgBUrn working soon..... Thanks!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I've had a few crash reports from Linux / Wine users with this same problem... so I am aware of it, I just don't know what causes it! As this doesn't occur with a real Windows install, I'd just chalk it up to a bug in Wine and report it as such at http://bugs.winehq.org/ For me, it works fine in Ubuntu 11.04 (32 bit) with Wine 1.3.29 but crashes exactly like yours (on the RegisterDragDrop API call) in Ubuntu 11.10 (32 bit) with Wine 1.3.30.
Xi0N Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) I didn't see your reply before: Thanks for doing so, it's much appreciated. I hope this gets fixed.... if you want me to help in any way possible for me.... just ask me to do so... testing or whatever you want... you just have to ask. Congratulations for this wonderful app EDIT: I got it working. In arch linux, i installed this package: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=35486 which is wine 1.2.3 instead of 1.3.30 which is the last... and now ImgBurn just works... This will do the work until wine fixes the last version..... Edited October 23, 2011 by Xi0N
