copy protection error

Hello one and all,

 

I do hope someone can help me here, if for no other reason than to save my sanity.

I have been trying to copy a particular DVD. I am fairly new to the business of copying movies and have managed so far just by using dvd shrink. I have a DVD here that seems to be impervious to all attempts to clone it. Looking on the internet I came across reference to DVD Decrypter and proceeded to download and research how its used. ...no good for this DVD. From there I went to DVD Fab Decrypter....again no success. I have now tried imgburn and still it remains stubbornly out of reach. As soon as it gets to the point where it starts to build I get a message...............Cannot read from file D:\video_ts\vts_01_0/vob

Reason: Copy Protection Error - The read failed because the sector is encrypted.

 

 

I am beginning to assume that this DVD has a new encryptions that no one is yet able to crack.

 

Any suggestions or condolences would be appreciated

sorry but we cannot help you with your problem, we are not allowed to discuss circumventing protected discs on this forum
