wench Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Hello one and all, I do hope someone can help me here, if for no other reason than to save my sanity. I have been trying to copy a particular DVD. I am fairly new to the business of copying movies and have managed so far just by using dvd shrink. I have a DVD here that seems to be impervious to all attempts to clone it. Looking on the internet I came across reference to DVD Decrypter and proceeded to download and research how its used. ...no good for this DVD. From there I went to DVD Fab Decrypter....again no success. I have now tried imgburn and still it remains stubbornly out of reach. As soon as it gets to the point where it starts to build I get a message...............Cannot read from file D:\video_ts\vts_01_0/vob Reason: Copy Protection Error - The read failed because the sector is encrypted. I am beginning to assume that this DVD has a new encryptions that no one is yet able to crack. Any suggestions or condolences would be appreciated
