Lewis Junior Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I have an iso file which I tried to burn with Imageburn however Imageburn show the file being present however I'm not able to see the files after I unRAR it. This happens to be a blu-ray image (iso). I updated my WinXP machine to UDF v2.5 but I now believe perhaps I need to update again to v2.6. I've searched for the past hour and can't locate the update. Can anyone direct me to an update site where I can download the v2.6 update? I would appreciate it. Thank you.
Lewis Junior Posted October 22, 2011 Author Posted October 22, 2011 OK. I think I just answered my own question. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Disk_Format It looks as if v2.5 is as far as it goes with WinXP. Windows Vista and Windows 7 support v2.6. In this case I can still burn the Iso image using Imageburn. Since I have five ISO images under 4 gigs and all containing 24/96 DTS-HD MA 5.1 music I was going to rip all tracks and combine them to a single blu-ray using Cirlinca HD Audio solo ultra. Guess I'll have to settle burning each iso seperately. Any ideas please let me know.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I'm pretty sure XP only supports up to 2.01. After that you install one of the UDF filter drivers to enable support for 2.50 and 2.60. Your initial post doesn't make a whole lot of sense... burning something and then unraring it - eh?! If you want help, post a log please - as per the pink box up the top
