gola Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I have seemingly successfully burnt some .flv videos (YouTube) from my desktop to a DVD-R disk using ImgBurn. And although the videos will play off the disk on both my laptop (Dell, Win 7) and desktop (Dell, XP) I just get an error message - "Playback feature may not be available on this disc" - when I try to play it on my VCR/DVD player plugged into my tv. Can you please suggest what may be wrong here and how I can rectify things? I'm new on here and am sorry I do not seem to have a log file I can post. I think I must have accidentally turned off that facility. Thanks for any info. (P.S When I downloaded the videos freom YouTube they were downloaded into my RealPlayer library, in case that matters. (I then copied them on to my desktop - shortcuts I believe.) And, yes, I have tried to find some info about this problem on Google, but am not much the wiser I'm afraid, being a newbie.)
mmalves Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I think you can use DVD Flick, DVDStyler or ConvertXtoDVD to convert your FLV files into DVD-Video format, which is the format that all DVD players can play.
