bds Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 My DVD drive is Plextor+ I have Windows 7, 64 bit. I wanted to copy a CD onto a DVD so I created an Image File from the disk and after, I chose write Image File to Disk. The message I got, which I couldn't find on the Guides written by Cynthia: Image Track Format Audio/2352. DVD Track Format Mode 1/2048. Image is not correct format for burning onto a DVD ... Sorry, no conversion possible. I have no idea how to solve this.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 You can't put CDDA (CD Audio) on a DVD. Use a CD.
bds Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 You can't put CDDA (CD Audio) on a DVD. Use a CD. OH GEEZ! I didn't know that. For yrs. I've only used this container of no name 50 DVD-R discs on my old PC. On this new one, I have Plextor-PX-L89OSA (but the PlexUtilities software disc didn't work with Windows 7, 64bit) BUT the DVD's work for listening to this stuff on the computer but I need to listen on an normal CD player and the CD player always says "no disc", meaning it doesn't even recognize it. So, thanks a lot and could you recommend a reliable brand of CD discs.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Anything by Taiyo Yuden. Verbatim do some pastel coloured ones that use the Taiyo Yuden dyes.
