mikebetts Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 (edited) Hi, I have followed the guide to load a queue (shift/left click from iso file to 'add') then loading into queue window. I then click on write but only the first file is successfully burnt. What am I not doing to burn( in this case) the 18 items. Edited November 7, 2011 by mikebetts
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Do all 18 items show up in the Queue window?
mikebetts Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 Do all 18 items show up in the Queue window? Hi, yes all 18 items show on Queue window.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Can you provide a pic of the queue window please? If there are multiple items in the queue, the program should prompt you to insert another blank disc once the previous burn has finished successfully.
mikebetts Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 Hi,yes it does, but I was under the impression that I could burn all 18 items which total 4.2 gigs on one disc. If I use the same disc the prompt is that the disc is not empty and will not proceed. I have also created a file with all 18 items but that did'nt work either - it only burnt the first item in the queue.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 That's not what queued burning is for. If you want to burn lots of things on a disc, use Build mode. It'll write the files 'as is' though. So if you have 18 disc images, you'll end up with 18 disc images on the disc. It won't magically combine their contents.
mikebetts Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 Hi, I have burned all 18 items in 'Build' mode but it will not play in my DVD player. As you know when I attempted to burn the 18 items in 'Write' mode it only burnt the first item, which plays on my DVD player, hence my confusion.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 As I hinted in my previous post, you'll have to extract the contents of each disc image and combine them using the appropriate software. It all depends on what the disc images actually contain as to how easy/hard that will be.
